Directions:
Respond to the following with your partner
1. How are amphibians (frogs, salamanders, toads) similar to reptiles (snakes, lizards, turtles)? In what ways are they different?
2. How is the diversity of living organisms on earth like a treasure chest?
3. If you could be another living thing besides a human, what would you be? Why?
4. What plants are important in your holiday celebrations? Name the holiday, the plant, and its importance.
5. Can you think of a fairy tale that you like that has a plant or animal as a central part of the plot? Name the fairy tale and the plant or animal.
6. If plants could talk and move, how would our world be different?
7. Can you think of the names of ten different mammals? List them. Try not to repeat ones that other teams have already given.
8. Examine the animals in the picture. Explain how these animals are adapted for living in trees.
9. Are dinosaurs more like reptiles or birds? Give at least two reasons for your answer.
10. Do you think viruses are alive? Why or why not?
